Reverend Stone has been the Associate Pastor at Rock Hill since 2006. She served under
the leadership of Rev. Joseph Robertson from 2006 to 2017. Their biggest accomplishment
was leading the congregation through the building of the new sanctuary. During that time,
she also chaired the Program and Pulpit Committee. Upon Reverend Robertson’s
retirement, she served as the interim Pastor from 2015-2017 and on the Pastor Search
Committee which selected the current Pastor, Rev. Warren Harley, in 2017.
Reverend Stone received her early Christian training from her godly parents and was a
member from her early youth to 2006 at Antioch Baptist Church (Ridgeway, SC) where she
served in various ministries. In April 2006, she answered her call to the ministry and her
steps were ordered by the Lord to serve at Rock Hill Baptist Church. In 2009, she was
ordained by the Mt. Moriah Baptist Association.
Reverend Stone has an Associate Degree from Midlands Technical College (Columbia SC),
Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC), a Master of Arts
from Columbia International University (Columbia, SC) and a Certificate in Continuing

Reverend Stone exercises gifts of serving and mentoring. Her Outreach Ministry includes
serving the homeless, visiting home-bound community members, offering intercessory
prayers on their behalf, and has taught at nursing homes and assistive living facilities in
Ridgeway and Columbia. Since 2001, she has been passionate and dedicated to
advocating for children who are abused and neglected by serving as a Guardian Ad-Litem
for Richland County CASA.
Reverend Stone motto is: “I can do everything through him who gives me strength”
(Philippians 4:13)”.
